I ate for the first time in college, from a simigerie, during the long breaks between seminars and I never got tired of them .... they are so buuuunniii, the taste is the same as the ones bought: D. They are made quickly, they are very tasty and can be an ideal package for a lunch break when you are at work .... so, don't stop and look, come and taste it !! :)))

  • 5 cream sausages
  • 250-300 gr flour
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 15 gr yeast
  • 150 ml of warm water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 eggs (1 pt dough + 1 pt ones)

Servings: 4

Preparation time: less than 90 minutes

Covridog RECIPE PREPARATION:

Dissolve the yeast with the sugar in 150 ml of warm water.

Put the flour in a bowl over which we add the dissolved yeast plus the rest of the ingredients (oil, salt, 1 egg) and knead well until the dough no longer sticks to your hands.

Let the dough rise in a warm place for about 30-40 minutes.

Meanwhile, boil the cream sausages, and after they have cooled, remove the skin.

On a board lined with flour, spread a sheet of raised dough and cut 2 finger wide strips.

We roll the dough strips on the cream sausages, and after we have finished dressing all the cream sausages we put them in a tray lined with baking paper.

Beat the remaining egg and grease the cream sausages in the pan.

Put the tray in the oven for about 25-30 minutes until golden brown.

BURNED COVRIDOGS

Almost all the pretzels entice us with this preparation, but I am extremely reluctant to buy it, I prefer the homemade version, with dough made by my hand from Pambac flour type 000 and clean sausages, from reliable sources.

INGREDIENTS (6 pieces)

280 g Pambac flour type 000

1 egg yolk and 2 tablespoons of milk to grease

I kneaded the dough in the bread machine for efficiency, but it can also be kneaded manually or on a robot. I put the ingredients in the tub of the car, in the following order: lukewarm water, sugar, yeast, flour, salt and oil. I set the kneading schedule and took care of other things for about half an hour.
I moved the kneaded dough in a bowl greased with oil and left it to rise, at room temperature, for about 90 minutes, during which time it increased a lot in volume.

I divided the dough into 6 equal balls, using the scale. (Approx. 75 g). I stretched each ball in a string about 50-55 cm long. I made 4 pieces with sausages and 2 with cabanas, so I prepared my sausages and wiped them from the condensate (they were taken out of the fridge) with a paper towel so that the dough adhered well. I wrapped each piece of sausages and cabanos in dough.

I boiled a liter of water, and when the water boiled, I added the baking soda.
I heated the oven to 230 degrees.

I dipped each pretzel, one by one, in the baking soda water and let it boil for about a minute. Then, with a spatula, I took them straight to the tray prepared with baking paper, in which I was going to bake them.

After scalding them all, I greased them with egg yolk mixed with milk and sprinkled sesame seeds on them.

I baked the pretzels for 13-15 minutes in the preheated oven at 230 degrees.

They are great! The dough is fluffy and well raised, some real piglets! They are very good warm, next to a glass of sana or with mustard, ketchup or hot sauce, but they also go cold or slightly heated in the microwave or sandwich maker (even if their shape spoils!)

I urge you to try them at home and convince yourself that they are much better than the simigerian variants.


Covridog with melted cheese & # 8211 Cremwursti in the horn

I have been salivating at the thought of these cream sausages in the horn for more than 2 months since our chosen ones put us in a state of emergency. Now you are wondering what the connection is with each other, they look that it has a pretty close one. As I go to my parents in Arad, at least twice a month, I always without exception stop at a bakery that has these wonders and I take a few pieces to have at home the next day.

They are soft, tender with a slightly smoky taste due to cream cheese sausages that drain easily from the first mouthful. Well, when this state of emergency was established, I was no longer in Arad and also at my favorite bakery.

Haven't I already made you want to ?! But why crave them, like me when you can make them at home from just a few ingredients absolutely accessible to all, and the preparation is quite simple and for the most clumsy in the kitchen.

Ingredient:

  • 500 g white flour
  • 300 ml milk with 3.5% fat
  • 3 yolks
  • 50 g butter
  • 10 g of fresh deodorant
  • 1 teaspoon caster sugar
  • 10 g salt (1 teaspoon)
  • 12 pieces of cream sausages
  • 12 slices of melted cheese
  • 1 whole egg
  • 50 g sesame or seed mix as I used

Method of preparation:

Put the yeast with the sugar in a bowl and mix until you get a paste. Add half the amount of warm milk, cover with foil and leave in a warm place to activate the yeast.

In a suitable bowl we put the sifted flour, salt, milk difference, activated yeast, yolks, butter and with the help of a silicone spatula we mix until it becomes inefficient, after which we move to manual kneading. We need to get an elastic, smooth and homogeneous dough.

Put the dough in a bowl greased with oil and covered with a foil of freshness and let it rise until it doubles in volume.


Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius:

We make 2 baking trays with baking paper.

On a work surface greased with oil, spread the dough in a rectangular shape with a size of 50/40 cm. Using a spur, divide the dough into 12 equal parts.

Wipe the cream cheese well from excess water and wrap each piece of cream cheese in a slice of melted cheese.

Roll the dough carefully over the cream sausages, taking care to close the ends well.

We put them in trays lined with baking paper and leave it to rise for another 15 minutes. Grease with beaten egg.

And sprinkle the seeds as much as possible on the total surface of the dough.

Bake for 15-16 minutes or until lightly browned. Good job and good appetite!
