Cake Greta Garbo

Cake Greta Garbo

Sheet preparation method: rub the yeast with a spoonful of sugar until liquefied.

In another bowl, rub the butter with the powdered sugar until it becomes frothy, then add the eggs, sour cream, orange peel and salt.

Mix the yeast with the butter and start to incorporate the flour, knead the dough and let it rise until it doubles in volume.

Divide the dough into three equal parts and spread them with a rolling pin the size of a tray. I used a 30/40 tray.

We line the tray with baking paper, we place the first sheet that we roll nicely on the twister and we roll it in the tray, then we spread over it half of the plum jam, and on top we sprinkle half of the ground walnut.

Cover with the second sheet over which we put the rest of the jam, also the rest of the walnut and on top of the last sheet. Prick from place to place, the last sheet, with a fork so as not to grow unevenly and put in the oven already hot.

Bake for 35-40 minutes at 180 degrees, but don't forget the toothpick test.

How to prepare the icing: We crush the chocolate and put it in a bowl where we mix it with milk, oil and cocoa.

Put the pot on low heat and stir continuously until all melts and mixes.

Pour hot over the cake and spread with a knife blade.

I had pretty sweet household chocolate and it didn't need sugar anymore.

I powdered part of the cake with sugar because that was the requirements.

It's a treat!

Step 1
I rubbed the yeast with the sugar until it liquefied. I added the butter at room temperature, the two eggs, one at a time, and mixed well with the mixer. I also poured the sour cream, lemon peel and flour. increased it by about 40 minutes. I divided the fluffy dough into 4 equal parts and spread 4 sheets with a thickness of half a cm, on baking paper. My tray is 40 cm long and 28 cm wide.

Each sheet is spread on baking paper of the same size as the tray. By doing so, the sheet can be easily transported to the tray without losing its shape. Peel the sheet off the paper after placing it in the tray. It is spread quite easily.
