Today I propose you the recipe to prepare Couscous speck and mushrooms, an easy recipe to make that comes to my rescue when I want to prepare a delicious and quick dinner for Ivano and I. In fact, since we discovered it, we have always had a packet of pre-cooked couscous at home so that we can transform it into a unique dish that is always new every time.
The intense taste of mushrooms blends with the flavor of speck creating a really interesting dish. Although the couscous with mushrooms has a decidedly more Westernized taste than the one with beef and vegetables of some time ago, I still invite you to try the recipe, I'm sure you will like it;)
How to make Couscous with speck and mushrooms
Clean the mushrooms and cut them into slices
Fry a clove of garlic in a pan with oil. Once browned, add the mushrooms, let them taste for a few minutes then add salt, pepper, fresh parsley and cook.
Add the diced speck
Put the couscous in the hot broth and stir until all the liquid is absorbed
Add a drizzle of oil, then shell the grains with the tines of a fork
Now add the couscous to the pan with the sauce, then mix with a wooden spoon
Serve by adding chopped chives directly to the plates.
