Some time ago I successfully experienced the Beer chicken, an alternative second course of meat that will make the meat very soft. The beer in cooking loses its alcoholic part, giving the meat a very particular aroma and scent. Try the recipe too, a chicken comes out with a delicious sauce, prepare some hot bread, because the shoe is a must: P
My boyfriend goes crazy every week he asks me to prepare the chicken with beer: P But be careful with the choice of beer that must not have a bitter aftertaste, I used the Splugen, so with this you are on the safe side; °)
As an alternative to the wok, you could also decide to prepare the chicken with beer in the oven.
How to make beer chicken
Make cuts on the chicken thighs , salt, pepper, flour and put them in the wok.
Brown the onions, carrot and celery cut into very small pieces in a wok in a little oil. Add the chicken and brown it over high heat for about ten minutes.
Then add the beer almost to cover the chicken legs and cook over low heat, covered, for about 30 minutes.
When almost cooked, season with salt, remove the lid and raise the heat to reduce the chicken sauce.
Then serve the chicken with beer on the plates, dabbing everything with the cooking juices.
