These halloween spiders are a creation of my sister, I made the cookies and she turned them into cute chocolate spiders, your children will love them. I saw around that someone else has prepared the Halloween spiders using truffles, my sister also tried with the macaroons ready to make it even faster, I used the pumpkin biscuits as a base, but they are also good another type of crumbly biscuits as long as the final result is effective;) I must add that in addition to being really nice sweets, they are very good, you can keep them in the fridge for a couple of days and serve them as your imagination suggests. How to make halloween cookies
Steam a piece of pumpkin.
In a bowl, work the flour with the cold butter cut into small pieces and the sugar until the mixture is grainy.
Add the pumpkin pulp reduced to puree, an egg, baking powder and cinnamon
Knead the dough quickly until you get a ball, then cover the dough with plastic wrap and leave to rest in the fridge for an hour.
Take the dough and form balls with it that you will place on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper
Bake the biscuits for 12/15 minutes at 180 °, remove from the oven and allow to cool
Once cold, take one biscuit at a time and sprinkle it with Nutella
Pass it in a saucer in which you will have put some dark chocolate flakes and cover it entirely
Unroll the slices of licorice and cut them into many equal pieces which will then form the legs of your spiders
With a knife, make two holes in the back of the spider
Insert the strips of licorice in the groove created with the help of a knife
Now create the eyes with a dot of sugar icing and voilà your Halloween spiders are ready.
Keep the sweets in the fridge until ready to serve them
