Recipe of chocolate salami with cherries of 30-06-2019
The salami of cherry chocolate it is another variant of the classic chocolate salami, indeed, of the white chocolate one, to be more precise. Also in this case I propose a recipe without eggs, perfect in case of intolerances or for those who simply do not like to eat raw eggs. The peculiarity of this recipe, in particular, is that instead of the traditional dried fruit I used wonderful fresh cherries, which go wonderfully with chocolate!
How to make cherry chocolate salami
First of all, wash the cherries and pit them.
Then break up the chocolate and melt it (in the microwave or in a double boiler), then let it cool down.
Meanwhile, chop the biscuits.
Whip the butter into small pieces with the sugar, then the biscuits and melted chocolate.
Also add the pitted cherries to the mixture and mix.
Then form the salami with moistened hands, placing it on cling film, wrap it in plastic wrap and let it rest in the fridge for at least 3 hours.
The chocolate salami with cherries is ready, you just have to cut it into slices and serve it.
