Yoyo motta's recipe of 04-07-2011 [Updated on 20-06-2013]
The other morning a friend of mine told me that he found on the cookaround forum a very simple recipe for preparing Motta yoyos. Knowing my passion to reproduce everything that is packaged at home, he gave me the recipe that I promptly made, the only variation I made was to stuff them with Nutella instead of the chocolate cream proposed by the 'author. In just 20 minutes I got some yoyos very similar to the originals, which were brushed off in a flash, quicker to do than to say. If you want to prepare a healthy and delicious snack for your children (or even for older ones like my friend and my husband) try this recipe, it's really super;)
How to do yoyos
Arrange the eggs, flour, sugar, vanilla extract and baking powder in a bowl
Mix everything with a fork until it forms a batter
Pour the mixture into spoonfuls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake at 180 degrees and cook for about 10 minutes.
Once taken out of the oven, to give it a nice round shape, with the help of a glass we cut out regular circles.
Lift the yoyos with the help of a scoop and start stuffing them by spreading a layer of Nutella on one half of the circles obtained
Cover with the other half of the circles, exerting a slight pressure to spread the nutella evenly.
Always with nutella, with the help of a toothpick, now form lines on each yoyo and that's it: P
