Reindeer biscuits recipe of 10-12-2014 [Updated on 14-12-2016]
I saw a photo of these reindeer cookies on the web and I fell in love with them, so I decided to prepare a spiced shortcrust pastry with ginger and cinnamon and make them myself to amaze Elisa. I took advantage of an afternoon when my sister came to see me and together we prepared the first Christmas cookies, good and very nice;) Girls I don't know where you come from, but here the frost has arrived, it's a beautiful day but it makes a polar cold, perfect for a nice hot soup, tea and spiced biscuits, let's see if today I can try something new on the genre. Have a sweet day and get back to work!
How to make reindeer cookies
In a bowl, mix the flour, spices and baking soda
Whip the butter with the sugar, then add the egg.
Once blended, add the powders.
Work until you get a homogeneous mixture, then add the cocoa.
Knead until you get a smooth dough, then put in the fridge to rest for 30 minutes.
Now divide the dough into 20 pieces and give them a slightly oval shape
Place half pretzels over the head to make the horns, a smarties in the center to make the nose and make the eyes with a food marker.
Put the reindeer biscuits on a baking sheet and bake in the oven at 180 degrees for 10 minutes
Let it cool down and then serve your Christmas reindeer cookies.
