Here is a tasty second course for those in a hurry and want to prepare slices of meat differently in a few minutes. The other night to grab some of the veal I bought, I improvised this recipe ... easy, quick and tasty. These emmental wallets are ideal for those who, like me, come home late and are looking for an idea for dinner, obviously if you don't like emmental you can replace it with fontina, edamer or other cheese you prefer . Good Monday morning everyone, and as I promised you, this time no sweets;)
How to make Emmental wallets
Beat the veal slices with a meat tenderizer, then place the emmental slices and the chopped walnuts on top.
Close the slices in half thus forming wallets that you will stop with toothpicks.
Pass the emmental portfolios in the flour, heat the butter in a pan then place the meat and brown it over a high heat on both sides.
Season with salt and pepper and deglaze with white wine then continue cooking over low heat for 10 minutes, turning them halfway through cooking.
Remove the toothpicks, garnish with a walnut and serve the emmental portfolios: P
