Recipe Baked Chatter of of 26-01-2013 [Updated on 02-03-2017]
This year I wanted to try baked chiacchiere to see for myself if this carnival cake, baked in the oven, could be a valid alternative to the recipe for classic fried carnival chiacchiere. Well, to my amazement, the baked chatter was really very good and crumbly, perfect for those who can't eat fried sweets but want to prepare carnival chatter and obviously tastier, but we know that fried things are always tastier, nevertheless it is good to know that you have a recipe that offers an alternative cooking with excellent results. A kiss to those who pass by here and have a good weekend: *
How to make chat in the oven
Pour the flour into a bowl, make a hole in the center and add the grated lemon zest, the eggs, the butter cut into pieces and the sugar.
Begin kneading by gradually absorbing the flour and adding the liqueur and vanilla essence.
Work until you get a soft and workable compound.
Divide the dough into 4 smaller loaves and with the machine to roll out the dough, roll the dough several times, folding the dough each time and flatten until the dough passes by setting the roller to level 4
Gradually place the pastry on a floured pastry board. With a toothed wheel, cut out many strips
Place the chiacchiere on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, brush with milk and bake in a preheated oven at 180 °
Bake the chiacchiere in the oven for about ten minutes or until they are golden.
Sprinkle the baked chatter with icing sugar and serve
