Gnocchi with mushrooms

A few weeks ago I received an email asking me to insert a recipe for preparing gnocchi with mushrooms, well I didn't get it said twice and I prepared this dish in my own way to delight my and my husband's palate, I took the photos and here it is;) In this version of mushroom gnocchi I preferred to form a cream, add the provolone, put the gnocchi in the shards and put everything in the oven because, let's face it, a dish served in the hot crock has a other effect. This morning more than autumn, here in Naples it seems late winter, it rains, it's cold and getting up from under the covers was a real trauma, I go to have my first coffee and try to wake up Elisa who is still sleeping blessed Sigh; / luckily tomorrow is party and we can stay warm all day. Method

How to make mushroom gnocchi

Brown a clove of garlic in a pan with a drizzle of oil, now add the already cleaned mushrooms, add salt and cook for about ten minutes
Prepare the béchamel and add it to the mushrooms together with 2/3 of the Parmesan

Mix everything until you get a mushroom cream

In the meantime, cook the gnocchi in abundant salted water, lift them with a non-hanging skimmer, they will rise to the surface and pour them into the saucepan with the sauce. Add the diced provolone and mix

Pour the mushroom gnocchi into the oven shards, sprinkle with the remaining Parmesan cheese, decorate with some mushrooms and place in a preheated oven at 220 °

Cook the mushroom gnocchi for ten minutes with the grill option, and serve
