ThereBarbie cake is the cake that I prepared this year to celebrate my little star's name day. Let's face it, Barbie's birthday cake is the dream of all the girls and Elisa, after having specifically requested it for her celebrations, also decided to make it 4 hands with me, so we got to work.
The cake is a real Barbie with a beautiful and greedy dress made of sponge cake stuffed with cream and Nutella and decorated with whipped cream, flowers and sugar beads, all completely edible. It is a dessert that leaves any little girl speechless but that my mother also appreciated, with whom Elisa shares the name day.
To make the Barbie cake, you need the wonder mold that I bought online. You can then decide whether to decorate it with whipped cream or sugar paste. Below I will post the tutorial to make the Barbie cake step by step following the style and colors suggested by my little star, in short, all pink; P.
How to make Barbie cake
Separate the yolks from the whites and whip the first with the sugar.
Then add the well sifted flour and yeast. Finally add the vanilla essence.
Separately, whip the egg whites until stiff and gently incorporate them into the mixture.
Butter the mold and pour the mixture inside. Level the surface then bake.
Bake the cake in a static oven at 160 ° C for 50 minutes, then turn the cake upside down on a wire rack and let it cool completely.
Then cut into four discs.
Whip the cream.
Use only 400 grams to combine it with Nutella.
Then stuff the first disk with a pastry bag, cover with the second and continue like this until you close with the last.
Cover the entire surface with a part of whipped cream set aside.
Move to the fridge for an hour.
Divide the remaining cream into two parts and add food coloring in different doses in both, so as to obtain two shades of fuchsia.
Place the Barbie and put the cream in the pastry bag to create, with tufts, the bodice and the skirt.
Your Barbie Cake is ready.
