Method

How to make salty cream tart

Start preparing the savory shortcrust pastry by putting the flour, Parmesan, baking powder, salt and pepper in a bowl.
Then add the eggs and finally the butter, very cold, cut into small pieces.

Quickly work the pastry starting from the center and gradually incorporating all the flour. Knead until you get a compact dough.
Then wrap it in plastic wrap and leave it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Once taken, divide it into two parts and roll them out with the help of a rolling pin on parchment paper to obtain a thickness of about 3 mm.

Using a template, cut out the two sheets in the shape of a hollow star.
Bake in the oven at 180 ° C for about 12 minutes or until lightly browned.

Meanwhile, prepare the cream cheese by adding the Parmesan to the Philadelphia.
Separately, whip the fresh cream and gently stir in it too.

Once the two baked stars have cooled completely, move on to the filling.
Put the first star in the serving dish and, after having transferred the cream into the pastry bag, form tufts over the entire surface.
Lay over the second star.

Here too, cover the surface with the cream.
Then decorate with cherry tomatoes, olives, salami and cheese roses and basil.

Your salty cream tart is ready to be served even sde it is advisable to wait a few hours before bringing it to the table for the pastry layer to soften.
