Witch's Eyes Recipe of 27-10-2014 [Updated on 13-03-2017]
Hello, let's start this week with the last candy I made for Halloween, witch's eyes, some nice sweets covered with white chocolate and decorated as if to look like eyeballs, monstrous;) To prepare the witch's eyes, I used as a base, Martha Stewart's peanut butter bon bon, no-bake sweets that came to my rescue to dispose of the peanut butter that I had left over from biscuits some time ago, but you can also choose another base, like truffles so to speak. Since they won't have any party at Elisa's school and that this year she seems to be all into Halloween, trick or treating and bright skullcaps, I really think that on Friday afternoon it will be my turn to organize a small party and choose to redo one of the recipes that I have already proposed to you. What will you do for the occasion? I'll leave you with the recipe for the Monday dessert and we'll read later, a kiss to those who pass by.
How to make Witch's Eyes
Work the peanut butter with the soft butter and powdered sugar.
Work until all the ingredients are combined
Divide the mixture into about 20 pieces and shape into balls, place on a plate lined with parchment paper and leave to rest in the freezer for about ten minutes.
Melt the white chocolate in a bain-marie
Skewer the balls with a toothpick and pass them in the melted chocolate.
Then place them gradually on a plate lined with parchment paper and add a smarties on the surface.
Once the couverture chocolate has hardened, with the food pens, draw the pupil on the smarties and the veins directly on the chocolate layer
Serve your witch eyes for the halloween party
