How to make shortcrust pastry with hazelnuts
Start by toasting the hazelnuts in a pan for a few minutes.
Then chop them in a mixer.
Work the butter with the sugar in a bowl.
Then add the eggs and start working again.
Now add flour, hazelnuts, yeast and vanilla essence and start kneading again.
Then form a compact dough.
Wrap it in cling film and let it rest in the refrigerator for half an hour.
Your hazelnut shortcrust pastry is ready to be used.
