Recipe Cones of puff pastry of 03-03-2017 [Updated on 12-02-2018]
The puff pastry cones are a delicious appetizer to be prepared even with the help of the little ones. With some orange coloring, a roll of puff pastry and a tasty filling, here we can make some nice baby carrots to bring to the table and that will intrigue for their pretty shape;)
To fill my puff pastry wines I chose Russian salad, I had made a large quantity of it for a buffet dinner I had organized and it fell perfectly, and some shrimp cocktail.
I also left some cones to nature, so without using the bathroom in the dye to give you a less choreographic and perhaps more refined idea, if you want to serve them at a more formal dinner: P
How to make puff pastry cones
Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into many strips of about 2 cm.
Grease the steel cones and wrap them with each strip, starting from the tip.
Arrange the cones and cylinders on the baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
At this point, brush each cone with milk in which you have diluted the orange dye.
Cook them in a dripping pan lined with parchment paper at 200 ° C for about 10 minutes.
Once cooked and left to cool, remove the cones and proceed with the filling.
With the help of a spoon, fill them with Russian salad or shrimp cocktail.
Add some parsley leaves with the stem.
Your puff pastry cones are ready to be served.
