Recipe Risotto with ham and lemon of of 10-05-2007 [Updated on 07-11-2017]
I am collecting the encyclopedia of Italian cuisine and up to now I have not tried any of the recipes listed in those books ... what a crafty eh? :)
But one I kept bet: the ham and lemon risotto.
This recipe of ham and lemon risotto has the advantage of having a delicate taste given by the ham and a citrus smell given by the lemon ... one word: excellent.
How to make cooked ham and lemon risotto
Prepare the vegetable broth or boil a cube in a liter of water.
Brown the ham cut into strips in butter together with the onion cut into a veil.
Add the rice to the sauce and toast it.
Then wet the rice with the white wine and when it has evaporated, cook the risotto for about fifteen minutes, adding the boiling broth 1 ladle at a time as the risotto thickens.
When cooked, stir in the ham and lemon risotto with a knob of butter, the Parmesan cheese and the grated lemon zest.
Serve and here's the ham and lemon risotto.
