How to make apple saccottini
Wash the apple, peel it and divide it into wedges, removing the core, then cut it into cubes.
Put the apple cubes in a pan with the butter, sugar, lemon juice and cinnamon stick. Cook over high heat for 5 minutes, then remove the cinnamon stick.
Transfer the apples to a bowl, add the chopped hazelnuts and finally add the chocolate cut into small pieces. Jumbled up.
Roll out the puff pastry on a flat surface and divide it into 8 rectangles.
Now put a spoonful of apple, hazelnut and chocolate mixture at the base of the rectangle obtained. Fold in 3, then press gently with your fingers to seal the edges.
Place the apple dumplings thus obtained on a dripping pan lined with parchment paper. Then brush the surface of the pastry with beaten egg and sprinkle with sugar.
Now bake the bundles in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 20 minutes until the surface of the bundles is golden brown.
