Grilled Spaghetti recipe of 24-05-2011 [Updated on 27-08-2018]

Grilled noodles are a popular dish throughout Asia that I adore, the other night, after finally managing to find the right size noodles in a Chinese market (usually in supermarkets you can only find thin thin ones that one once cooked they look like jelly), I improvised a Chinese dinner, to let my family taste the legendary grilled spaghetti. Every time I prepare an ethnic recipe my husband and I dream of returning to Thailand where we have begun to appreciate oriental cuisine as well as culture; in my house there is never a shortage of foods such as noodles, soy sauce, and all those spices that once mixed give that typical oriental flavor to the dishes, so when we get nostalgia, I fumble around in the kitchen and still feel ... smell of Thailand :) If you like to try, this is my recipe for preparing grilled spaghetti, apart from noodles, all the other ingredients are readily available, just a pity that being at mum's house, I could not serve the plate in one of my sets of plates with mat, bowls and lots of chopsticks ... will be for the next one. P.Š. this first course, and correct me if I'm wrong, is also suitable for celiacs who will only have to be careful to choose a brand of soy sauce that specifies that it is gluten-free.


How to make grilled spaghetti

Wash and trim the courgettes and carores and cut them into julienne strips

In a wok, or in a large pan, sauté the leek in seed oil.Cut the chicken breast into strips and pass it in the cornstarch, then add it to the wok and brown for about 5 minutes.

Now add the caote and courgettes and sauté them in the wok as well.

Add a glass of water, the bean sprouts, add salt and cook for another 5 minutes

Meanwhile, cook the noodles for 5 minutes in boiling water.

Drain the noodles, pour them into the sauce along with the chicken and vegetables, add 5/6 tablespoons of soy sauce and mix

Now transfer the spaghetti to a hot plate and let it salt for a few more minutes.

Serve the Chinese grilled noodles in the dishes accompanied by soy sauce that everyone can add according to their personal taste to the dish.
