How to make lemon bread
Dissolve the yeast and sugar in water and lemon juice at room temperature.
Add the flour and lemon peel
Then add the salt to the dough.
Knead until you get a smooth and homogeneous dough.
Then transfer it to an oiled bowl.
Let rise until doubled. It will take about 2 hours.
Then divide the dough into 2 pieces.
Obtain cylinders, which you will join together by intertwining them.
Arrange the twisted dough in a loaf pan covered with parchment paper and let it rise until it reaches the edge of the mold.
Gently brush the bread with an emulsion of water and olive oil.
Then bake the lemon bread in a preheated convection oven at 190 ° C, and bake for about 35 minutes.
